Store credits, Redeliveries & Lag Monster

Hi again! few more teething problems lol I managed to incorrectly set up the new redelivery system so if you've been having trouble having your items redelivered this would be why! :P Also the store credits seemed to have been inconsistent. If you have made a purchase over the last week and haven't received a store credit (you can check your balance via the terminal in store) please send a notecard with your transaction history and I'll credit your account. The problems seem to be rectified now so fingers crossed!

The region the new Truth store is situated on hasn't really been used since it was established and since opening the store the region performance has been terrible. I've been in contact with LL and have had it's hosts switched a couple of times and it seems to be working better. Apologies if you've had trouble moving around & hopefully now the lag is somewhat reduced.

Issue with Texture in Reds Pack

There is an issue with a particular texture in the Reds pack of some hairstyles. It's only on colours Reds01 and Reds02 and their faded options. It is most visible on Abra, Lotus and Noemi but I will need to fix it on Crys, Nydia, Swift, Kenzie, Rebel, Mindy and Zuzka.

If you've bought any of these hairstyles since the re-opening please drop me a notecard with your transaction history and I'll send a replacement for you! I've only fixed Abra, Lotus and Noemi so I'll try and get them to you as soon as possible.

Regarding feedback on hair colours

Hey Everyone! thanks very much for the mostly positive response to the updated Truth packs. I just wanted to write a post regarding suggestions and criticisms I've read (mostly on the marketplace). I understand change is something that always receives mixed feelings and I considered this at length before overhauling the colour range.

I knew there would be a good amount of people who would complain that their favorite colour is gone or that this shade isn't right or light, or dark, or red or brown enough. I know most of you would have become accustomed to wearing a certain colour for years since it hasn't changed for so long and I totally get that. But to me they felt outdated and it was at the point where I was only using a handful of hair colours on the vendor ads because I disliked all the rest. There was too much yellow/orangey shades, blondes that were too bright or yellow, browns bordering on green and blacks that were too burnt or exposed in the texture and I feel this was shared by many too when I've received feedback in the past.

I noticed this morning some people were out for blood on the marketplace lol and decided to start to vent their displeasure at the changes. I have had people threatening to "shop elsewhere" if I don't bring their favorite colour back, comments like "if its not broke don't fix it". It is impossible to please everyone. All I can really say to that is I'm sorry if your particular colour is gone but I hope you can find something you like, and naturally you are free to not purchase from my store if you don't wish to. Of course I take everyones suggestions seriously and they do matter but I cannot cater to every individuals preferences.

I'm all for freedom of opinion but really if you are interested in making any real suggestion to me you can always contact me in world. I've taken the colour demos off for now because I feel it was getting to the point of trolling...I mean seriously, I list the products for ease of purchase to my customers not for people to rate my whole store with 1 star because you lost your shade of brown. I'm sure you will find other means eg. the free hair demos lol but if a simple hair colour change conjures up such strong feelings well I don't really understand why you would want to deter others from trying and buying...but that is just me I guess :P

To everyone else thank you so much for your kind comments and support over the years and I'm happy to have pleased hopefully the majority of my customers. Unfortunately to those who have messaged me regarding possibly bringing back their shade, I won't be altering the packs in the near future. But I do intend to make many more hairstyles as always (and I always love your ideas!).

New Truth! 14 May 2013

Big changes at Truth this week! I've got a brand new build and also reworked the hair colours and packs.

New Hair Colours/Packs

This has been a project I started almost 2 years ago so you'll see all the older sculpted & flexi hairstyles are in different hair packs to the mesh hairstyles located in the first room of the store. Since mesh came in and I started playing with the faded colours I decided to work these faded options into every pack in replacement of the "roots" option. Please note these are NOT available in the older sculpted/flexi hairstyles and be sure to try both sets of colour demos as the hair colours are different for the mesh hair vs sculpted. I still have a bit of work to do with repacking older hair so if you can't find something it may not be out yet.

New Build

It was way overdue and finally Truth Hair has a new home. Huge thanks to Triin http://flickr.com/triineon for the awesome new build. There is still some work to be done before its complete so don't mind the mess :P

Marketplace Listings

I had a huge amount of enquiries as to why most of my inventory is no longer available on the Marketplace. When LL switched over to their new direct delivery system this delisted most of my store. However, since the hair packs are different now there was no point and updating these listings. I'll work to get all of the mesh hair relisted in the new colours but I will not be listing the older sculpted/flexi hair.

Redeliveries, Gifting & Store Credit

Finally you will be able to have your purchases redelivered! Big thanks to DavidThomas Scorbal for helping me to install his awesome system. You can now gift via the vendor or by purchasing a gift card from the terminal in store. Every time you make a purchase at the store [Marketplace not included] you will receive 13L for regular packs, 20L for variety packs or 63L for buy all packs in store credit. Once accumulated, you can use the credit to buy free hair!

Further instructions on how to use these functions are available in store by clicking the (?) button on the terminal.

Store Poster Competition
